In December 2020, the 25-year-old rock star was honored with the Gamechanger Award by Attitude, a U.K.-based LGBTQ+ magazine. Although he previously described his sexuality as “very fluid” but “more straight”, Yungblud took the opportunity to officially come out as pansexual.

When asked if he sees himself as part of the LGBTQ+ community, he responded by saying that he believes he is.
I know it’s such a massive statement to me, but probably, yeah, I think I would. I haven’t said that yet because I don’t want some mad article everywhere going, ‘Yungblud comes out as f*cking pan!’”
He also added that he’s proud of his sexuality, openly admitting that he’s attracted to everyone.

She taught me so much, even about my sexuality. The conversations we would have at night, she has such knowledge because she’s been openly bisexual for years. It’s so funny when you’re dating someone, yet owe them a lot towards your sexuality. Even though she is not a man, she made me go, ‘Oh my god, I probably am into that.’”
Although he said they’re better off as friends, she basically changed his whole perception of love.
I met someone and she changed my whole perception of what love could be. It didn’t work out in the end because we’re better as friends and I think that’s what it was. We’re kind of very the same so that was weird for us.”

Yungblud’s Relationships
Yungblud was first linked to Anäis Gallagher in 2019, who is the daughter of Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher. Dating rumors between them began when they were spotted backstage at a performance in Manchester, as reported by The Sun. However, The Daily Mail contradicted the rumors and reported that the two were simply good friends.
The British rockstar then dated Halsey for a year, from 2018 to 2019, during which they made several red carpet appearances together. However, in October 2019, Halsey announced their breakup through a now-deleted Twitter post.
