This 60-year-old actor started acting in the 1986 American sports comedy film, “Wildcats”. Wesley Snipes, whose full name is Wesley Trent Snipes, is a seasoned, trained martial artist. He started training when he was 12 and earned a 5th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate and 2nd dan black belt in Hapkido. He was discovered by a talent agent in a competition, which made him land his first acting role in “Wildcats”.
Wesley Snipes has been in show business for almost 40 years now. His most notable projects were “U.S. Marshals” (1998), “Major League” (1989), “Passenger 57” (1992), “White Men Can’t Jump” (1992), and the “Blade” film trilogy (1998–2004).

Wesley Snipes has been married twice. The actor’s first wife is April Eloise Dubois. They were married from 1985 to 1990 before they filed for divorce. The couple had one son, Jelani Snipes, who had made a cameo in his father’s 1990 movie, “Mo’ Better Blues”. After the divorce from his first wife, Wesley Snipes married South Korean painter and artist, Nakyung “Nikki” Park, in 2003. Serving Three Years in Jail for Tax Evasion
Wesley Snipes was sentenced to 3-year imprisonment in 2008 for “wilful failure to file $15m (£11.6m) of federal income tax returns”. The actor blamed his advisers for giving him bad information. He even claimed that the IRS was an illegitimate government agency and that he was a nonresident alien. None of these excuses were enough to justify his failure to file a tax return.
The actor made an appeal in 2010 but it was denied. He began serving his sentence in December of the same year and was released in April 2013.

He also said that he had gained so much in the two and a half years of “meditation and isolation”. He understood so much more, he said, so it was a good deal.
