Born on June 8, 1984, 38-year-old American comedian Tony Hinchcliffe is a very popular podcaster and stand-up comedian. His forte is in dark and insult comedy. He has exceptional skills in humor and one-liners and was never afraid to make jokes about race, ethnicity, gender, and politics, despite the controversy.

He started gaining public recognition through his podcast Killy Tony. He had also written materials for the Comedy Central Roast series, aside from hosting a special one-hour stand-up comedy, One Shot, on Netflix, which made him reach a new audience. It became one of the most in-demand podcasts on YouTube. His fans love the fact that he can laugh at himself. It doesn’t even offend him if other comedians roast him. The comedian had always been secretive about his personal life. However, he revealed through an Instagram post in 2017 that he was married to Charlotte Jane, daughter of Bob Jane, an Australian race car driver and prominent entrepreneur and business tycoon. The two were reported to have tied the knot in 2015.
He had already revealed during one of his shows on the Joe Rogan Podcast in 2015 that he was married. But since the comedian has this gay persona in him, fans didn’t believe him right away. This was until he posted a photo of his wife, Charlotte Jane, two years later, showing off what looked like their engagement and wedding rings.
Although they sometimes post photos of each other on social media, they maintain a very low-profile relationship.
However, in a recent Instagram post of Charlotte Jane, she was seen with another man with the caption “I am the luckiest girl ❤️.” While most of her followers were happy for her, one comment said, “Did tony and her break up??”
So yeah, probably Tony and Charlotte Jane were no longer together. She, however, still has to comment on that to confirm the breakup.

Being a comedian makes Tony Hinchcliffe prone to gay rumors. Some of the acts he did may suggest that he’s not straight. His audience said he gave out this gay persona in him. This somehow started the rumors about his sexuality.
Although the comedian never really talks about his sexual orientation, he once tweeted about being treated like a gay guy by hot ch*cks.
Hot chi*ks treat me like I’m a gay guy. Gay guys treat me like I’m a hot chi*k.”
But apart from that, he never really clarified anything about his sexual preference. This left fans wondering if the rumors were actually true.
On Getting Involved in Controversies
Tony Hinchcliffe has always been known to do insult comedy, a genre in which the act consists mainly of roasting and throwing offensive insults at the audience or at other performers. And although some find this entertaining, this has got Hinchcliffe in trouble, as well.
In 2021, the comedian received backlash for making racial slurs against Chinese-American comedian Peng Dang. During a performance in Austin where both comedians shared a stage, Hinchcliffe made offensive jokes about the Asian community. This shocked the other comedian and left the whole Asian community infuriated. Much of Hinchcliffe’s set involved “Chinese jokes,” making Dang walk out of the venue.

Now, going back to the comedian’s much-debated sexuality, is he gay?
At this point, it is hard to assume Tony Hinchcliffe’s sexual orientation. He remained mum amidst all the gay rumors thrown at him. He had been really secretive about his past relationships, as well. His only public relationship was with Charlotte Jane and that doesn’t even assure that he’s straight. He could be bisexual for all we know. But again, due to the lack of dating history to base our conclusion, we couldn’t really assume anything. So yes, whether Tony Hinchcliffe is gay or not is a mystery left to unravel.
