His most notable acting projects, aside from those that are mentioned above, were “Friday After Next” (2002), “White Chicks” (2004), “Idiocracy” (2006), “Blended” (2014), the “Expendables” series (2010–2014), and “Rumble” (2021).

Terry Crews has always been open about his personal life. His life has been an open book. It was not a secret that he grew up in an abusive home with an alcoholic father. He was married to actress and former beauty queen, Rebecca King-Crews. The couple met at Western Michigan University when they were still studying — where Terry played for the university’s football team. The couple got married in July 1989. Next is Wynfrey Crews, the youngest daughter. The youngest and the only boy among all five siblings, Isaiah Crews, is also an amazing actor. The 18-year-old started acting when he became a part of Nickelodeon’s “Side Hustle” in 2020.

On Getting Involved in Sexual Assault and Gay Rumors

In October 2017, at the peak of all the sexual harassment issues involving film producer Harvey Weinstein and various Hollywood actresses, Terry Crews also revealed that he, too, was a victim of sexual assault. The actor exposed that in 2016, a male Hollywood executive (who was later revealed as the head of the motion picture department of the talent company William Morris Endeavor, Adam Venit) groped him at a party. The actor said he was too scared to report the harassment.

He shared how the #MeToo movement had given him the courage to come forward and share his own experience, even if a lot of people told him that it was invalid. And although he received a lot of support for what he did, he got his fair share of backlash, as well. This is already expected considering the toxic culture society has of invalidating male victims of sexual assault.

The incident somehow started rumors about the actor’s sexuality. Some internet users started to call him names on social media. The actor, who had enough of the bashing, once replied to someone who called him a “f*ggot” on Twitter.

Is Terry Crews Gay?

No, Terry Crews is not gay. He has been married to his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, for 33 years, and they have five children together. His family has been actively involved in the industry and even had a reality TV show called “The Family Crews.” Being involved in a sexual assault scandal with another man, where he was the victim, does not make him gay, as Crews clarified in the past.
