As he was suffering from a hangover and was given a wrong flight schedule by his travel agent, he was late for 10 minutes and was not able to board the plane on time. A few minutes later, it was then reported that American Airlines Flight 11 was hijacked and was flown straight to the North Tower of the World Trade Center where it killed everyone on board.
