KSI is an English content creator, rapper, and professional boxer who gained fame through commentary-style YouTube videos. He was born on June 19, 1993, in London, England, as Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji. Shortly after his birth, Olatunji’s family moved to Watford in Hertfordshire where he spent the majority of his childhood. He studied at Berkhamsted School until he dropped out of sixth form to pursue YouTube full-time.

Olatunji first opened his current YouTube channel in 2009 under his now-famous moniker, “KSI,” which stands for “Knowledge, Strength, Integrity.” He got his start by uploading gaming commentary content for FIFA video games. After several years, KSI managed to build a strong online community and switched to vlog-style content. In 2013, the rising YouTuber joined a content group called the Sidemen. In collaboration with the group, KSI produced prank videos, challenges, and comedy sketches until his departure in 2017.

KSI’s Take on Sexuality
Over the years, there have been countless speculations regarding KSI’s sexuality. Due to his outgoing personality, many viewers have unfairly branded the YouTuber as effeminate and questioned his relationship with male friends.
However, KSI settled the matter once and for all with a single tweet. In June 2022, he finally addressed the rumors:
