Kevin Samuels revealed in an interview with VLAD-TV that he had been married twice.
His first marriage was with his high school sweetheart, which only lasted for a year. He didn’t reveal the year his marriage took place but he did reveal that he had one child from his first marriage. His child’s identity, however, was not disclosed.
The relationship guru said that it wasn’t a good idea to get married as they were better off as friends.

Six to seven years later, Kevin Samuels got married to his second wife. His second marriage only lasted for three years because of “irreconcilable differences”. He had no children from the said marriage.

This was after she announced on her Instagram that it was “step daddy season.”

Kevin Samuels received mixed reactions because of his controversial insights and misogynistic comments. The self-proclaimed love guru received a backlash from the public because of his highly critical remarks about Black women and dating. He sparked outrage when he referred to unmarried women 35 and older as “leftover women”.
