Born on December 21, 1996 as Kaitlyn Rochelle Dever, this 26-year-old American actress has been one of Hollywood’s top emerging young actresses in today’s generation. Being active in the industry for just a little over a decade has already earned her two Golden Globe Awards nominations, plus a dozen more from other prestigious acting award-giving bodies.

Apart from her numerous nominations, she also bagged a few awards, such as CinemaCon’s “Female Stars of Tomorrow” (shared with Beanie Feldstein), Hollywood Film Critics Association’s “Best Performance by an Actress 23 and Under“ and “Next Generation of Hollywood”, and Hollywood TV Critics Association’s “Best Supporting Actress in a Streaming Limited or Anthology Series and or Movie”.
She started gaining recognition after she starred in probably three of the most notable projects she has had so far — the ABC/Fox sitcom Last Man Standing (2011–2021), the Netflix drama miniseries Unbelievable (2019), and the Hulu drama Dopesick (2021). Then, around October 2021, Kaitlyn Dever was again linked to another rumored love interest, famous skateboarder and actor Nice Hiraga. This was after she shared a photo of herself hugging Hiraga on her social media account. Although the photo’s caption suggests that they’re just friends, fans flooded the comment section with questions about whether they’re an item. Hiraga, on the other hand, left a comment on the said photo, saying “love you big sistahhhh”, to which the actress replied with, “love uuuu”. The interaction suggests a platonic relationship between the two, but that doesn’t stop the fans from having other assumptions.
Just recently, the actress was rumored to be dating actor Travis Trope. There was not much information about the rumored relationship though.

On Rumored Coming Out
Fans of the Golden Globe Award-nominated actress had always been curious about her sexuality. There had always been assumptions that she was not straight by sexual preference. These theories must have bloomed from her outstanding performances in woman-loving-woman (WLW) portrayals.
There were a few articles online talking about the actress “coming out” in an interview with The Times. She was said to admit to being in a relationship with both men and women. However, we couldn’t find enough proof of this supposed interview. Thus, we can’t really vouch for its legitimacy.
One thing for sure is the fact that Kaitlyn Dever received praise for portraying a queer role in some of her projects.
