Uhmm, okay. If the new Twitter CEO believes 8 billion people is way too little, then who are we to argue? Kidding.
Making it his life’s mission to repopulate the world, the business magnate has 10 children. His first baby, Nevada Musk, unfortunately, died at 10 weeks old due to Infant Sudden Death Syndrome. His 9 other kids were Griffin, Vivian, Kai, Saxon, Damian, X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and twins whose names aren’t publicly revealed yet. There were several mothers involved here and some of them had to undergo IVF. So, yes, having a lot of kids is something that Musk had planned quite well.

The controversial business mogul was married and divorced three times. That’s aside from his relationships that didn’t end up at the altar. So here are the women who were once a part of the business magnate’s life.
Justine Wilson (2000 – 2008)
The “Starter Wife”, as she would sometimes call herself, Justine Wilson is Elon Musk’s first wife. This Canadian author married the tech wizard in 2000. They met when they were still at university.
They had 6 kids together. The eldest, Nevada, passed away at 10 weeks old due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). They had twins in 2004, Griffin and Vivian, and triplets in 2006; Kai, Saxon, and Damian. All these kids were conceived via IVF.
The couple went their separate ways in 2008 — as per Marie Claire — in one of the messiest divorces recorded in America’s history. The writer called her marriage with Musk toxic.

Talulah Riley (2008 – 2016)
Elon Musk got engaged to English actress Talulah Riley six weeks after he filed for divorce from Justine Wilson. The two got married in 2010.
It was a whirlwind romance, the actress said. He proposed to her like 10 days after they met! However, things didn’t go well with them either, so the business magnate filed for divorce in 2014. They got back together and got married again after 18 months, but Talulah Riley filed for divorce again in 2016.
Amber Heard (2017 – 2018)
Elon Musk and actress Amber Heard have known each other for more than 10 years already before they got together in 2016 — after she finalized her divorce from Johnny Depp. They were spotted together in 2016 but didn’t go Instagram-official until April 2017.
The couple, however, called it quits four months after they started to officially date because of their busy schedule. To prove that there was no bad blood between the two, the tech mogul even left a comment on Amber Heard’s Instagram account.

The business mogul then started dating Canadian singer Grimes. As Page Six has reported exclusively, the couple started dating in April 2018, one month before they showed up together on the Met Gala’s red carpet.
The couple unfollowed each other on Twitter by the fall of 2018, which started speculation about their breakup. However, the singer confirmed in an interview with WSJ Magazine in March 2019 that they were still together.
Grimes announced her pregnancy by posting her baby bump on Instagram in January 2020. The singer gave birth to their son, X Æ A-12 (which sparked debates on Twitter on how it should be pronounced), in May 2020 — whose name was later changed to X Æ A-XII to comply with California law. It was also later revealed that they had welcomed their second child, a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl, in December 2021 through surrogacy. The actress once revealed that they have “always wanted at least three or four” children together.
However, the couple announced their breakup in December 2021, hours after they introduced their second baby to the world.

Shivon Zilis (2021 – 2022)
In July 2022, rumors broke about Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis, the director of operations and special projects at Musk’s Neuralink company, having a pair of twins. It has been revealed that she gave birth to twins in November 2021.
Although the twins’ names were not revealed, Business Insider reported that the babies have Musk’s last name and Zilis’ last name as their middle name.
Elon Musk indirectly confirmed it by tweeting:

It looks like the business magnate is still on the grind on his life’s mission of repopulating the world.
On Gay Rumors and Having a Transgender Child
Honestly, it was still unknown where all the gay rumors surrounding the SpaceX and Tesla CEO came from when it was obvious, based on his past relationships, that he was straight.
However, the business magnate was a known supporter of the LGBTQ community. In 2018, his Tesla team even uploaded a photo of an LGBTQ-themed Tesla car on social media to celebrate ‘Pride Month’ and sexual diversity.

When a homophobic internet user called out the car company for “promoting any kind of agenda” and “trying to influence Public Policies or ‘alternative lifestyles’”, the Tesla CEO straight up told the troll not to buy their car if that’s a problem.
But even with Musk’s open support for the queer community, being the self-proclaimed pro-LGBTQ that he is, he still gets under fire for “showing the contrary” of what he claims. This was after he called trans people’s pronouns an “esthetic nightmare” that “sucks” in a tweet. He also called the fight for LGBTQ rights and support for Ukraine “the current thing”.
Xavier Musk, one of Elon’s kids with his first wife, Justine Wilson, is transgender. Born as Xavier Alexander Musk, the 18-year-old had recently filed a petition to legally change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, taking her mother’s last name.
