Popular for his iconic red hair, Carrot Top is a world-renowned prop comedian acclaimed for providing first-class humorous entertainment to his audiences since the 80s. Being one of the highest-paid comedians at the Luxor Hotel, the entertainer has been doing shows for Las Vegas audiences for 15 years already. And with a 5-year contract extension signed last 2019, the comedian was set to do comedy shows in the highly-visited casino hotel until 2025.
This 56-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Scott Thompson, also worked as a Cartoon Network announcer in the 90s. This actor-slash-comedian also appears in a plethora of films. Carrot Top has gone under the knife multiple times, making his appearance go through some drastic changes throughout the years. After undergoing several plastic surgery procedures and facelifts, the entertainer started to look rather feminine. It made the public start to question his sexuality. Although he could only be doing such to counteract the effects of old age.
Aside from his current looks, the comedian also remains unmarried even at the age of 56. This left fans speculating that he is not interested in women at all.

However, some of the gay rumors, as well as the jokes about his physical appearance, were below the belt, and thus, hurt the comedian since, at the end of the day, he’s only human. But instead of having it affect him in a negative way, he was turning it into something positive.
People say, ‘Carrot Top is gay’ or ‘Carrot Top got a facelift.’ Would I look better with a facelift? Or ‘Carrot Top does drugs.’ It’s so absurd and people say to me, ‘That hurts your feelings, right?’ Some of it does. But I’m a big fan of self-deprecating humor; that’s my whole thing.”

Carrot Top’s Relationship
Not known to a lot of people, Carrot Top is actually in a long-term relationship with Amanda Hogan. The couple had been dating since around March 2015. Hogan is 38 years old, which gave them an 18 years age gap. There is not much information about her, aside from the fact that she is a business entrepreneur and has been running a catering and event planning company.
There is no current report on whether the couple is still together up to these days. But knowing how Carrot Top tries to keep his personal life away from the public eye, they could still be very much together right now even without “confirmation” from either party.
