However, the group insisted that they didn’t appear on the cover of the magazine to cater to the LGBTQ community. They even admitted to being homophobic.
Nevertheless, one of the band’s members, Flea, confessed to experimenting with his sexuality, interacting with various people. However, he ultimately concluded that he is not gay.
I didn’t think it was that significant. I thought I would try something new and it turns out that ‘hey, I’m not gay.’ That’s why I can’t call it ‘my story.'”
