Fondly called El Potrillo by the media and his fans, Alejandro Fernández Abarca is a 51-year-old Mexican singer who is deemed as one of the most successful Hispanic music artists in history, boasting over 20 million records on sale worldwide.
He is the son of Vicente Fernandez, a legend in the Mexican ranchera with four Grammy Awards, nine Latin Grammy Awards, fourteen Lo Nuestro Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under his belt.
